Poker Room Pays Out Over €600K Bad Beat Jackpot

The lucky French online poker player Lionel Foulquier played on a €0.50/€1 No Limit Table and had his quad 8s beaten by Quad Queens. Lionel joined poker Heaven during last summer and has been playing poker for just over one year.
Foulquier admitted he became speechless when he realized that he hit life changing Jackpot: “I was aware that the jackpot was standing at over €600,000, but to be honest I didn’t think I stood any chance of winning it. When my quad 8s were beaten I immediately left the table to see if I had won, and when I realized I had, I spoke to a friend of mine to tell him that I had just won over €200,000, and at that point we were both left speechless.”
Foulquier was not the only winner at that table. Player with o1nfl1p username claimed €105,254.25 courtesy of winning the hand and the 7 other players participating in the hand all received some cash prizes.
