In a game of Blackjack, how do you figure out the percentage chance of his hand busting?
In Blackjack, which you should know if your planning to answer this question, the dealer is dealt one face up card that the players see and one face down card…
From this you can obviously work out the percentage chance of his hand busting(according to the card he has), however I’ve went brain dead and cannot figure out how to work this out?
Can someone help!
Hi,
Not sure about calculating percentage odds of the dealer busting out based their up card – influencing factors would be for example the number of decks of cards in the shoe, how long since the last shuffle and what cards have been dealt since and so forth.
Instead, there are strategy cards all over the place – even on casino web sites – which suggest the action for the player to take depending on their cards dealt and the dealer’s up card.
These strategy cards are based on statistics and aimed and giving the player the best chance of winning. Indeed – by using these strategy cards in conjunction with a sign-up bonus it is, in theory, possible to turn the odds in your favor and grind out a profit using sign-up bonuses.
However the casinos were quick to pick up on this and increase the wagering requirements before a cash out or exclude blackjack from the bonus all together.
If you can find a casino with a low wagering requirement for blackjack and a good sign up bonus you could still profit from the strategy card approach.
